Thierry Schembri and Olivier Boisseau met in a pub in London in 1973. They both were fond of computers and teddybears. They spoke for hours and finally concluded that teddybears were not a particularly interesting hobby. So they decided to focus on computers. Then they left the bar and never saw each others for years. Then in 1998, in a little french village, they met again in a an oldcomputers collectors meeting. They spoke about the good old time and laughed about the fact that they once were fascinated by teddybears, though Thierry was still an active member of the anonymous teddybears collectors. They learned that they were both developping sites devoted to oldcomputers and decided that they would be much more effective if they merged these two excellent websites. Though the two friends were separated by millions of kilometers Thierry lived in the Artic area, and Olivier on a beach with palms, they quickly started their new project and soon produced something very funky. At the start of 2001, they officialy launched their new site and received many congratulations from all around the world
