Highpath Engineering UK in Computers & PCs Resource Directory

Highpath Engineering is run from 2 small workshops in rural Wales by a couple of multitalented engineers who made their reputations through innovative work with cycles. In the mid 1990s they designed the groundbreaking Brox quadricycle which has been widely acclaimed and has been featured on several televison programs about technical innovation. Chris Chris Bell has a BSc degree in electronics and a Diploma for teaching 3dimensional design. He is wellknown for his EGGring cycle chainrings which have enjoyed an enviable reputation ever since their introduction in the 1980s, have been exhibitted in Londons Science Museum and Millenium Dome, and been used to win Olympic gold medals. A passionate advocate for appropriate technology, Chris is proud to use a bicycle for everyday transport. He also programs RISC OS computers and remains bewildered by the forces of marketing which have swamped the World with the technicallyinferior Micro$oft PC. Before moving into engineering, Chris spent 12 years teaching science and technical subjects in the UK and Africa.
