Pluto is a offline news and mail reader for RISC OS computers. It also functions as a text database, both for news and email messages, and also any other text files that you may want to store and index. Pluto can be used with: The ANT internet suite as a replacement for the Marcel news and mail reader The Voyager internet suite as a replacement for Posty and Newsagent. The Termite internet suite as a replacement for Offlite. With free or shareware news and mail fetchers such as Newshound, POPStar, POP, FreeSMTP. Also with Dialup which contains Newshound and POPStar or Hermes. Pluto has been under continuous development since the first version way made available in August 1997. Many new features and improvements have been added as a result of experience and use and feedback and requests from users.
